Maintenance Engineer - Full Time

Role Overview: The Maintenance Engineer is responsible for maintaining and repairing essential systems that ensure the smooth operation of hotel facilities, directly impacting guest and staff experiences. Key Responsibilities Operate and troubleshoot HVAC systems, boilers, chillers, refrigeration, electrical, plumbing, and mechanical equipment.Perform preventative maintenance on diverse systems and ensure compliance with safety standards.Conduct carpentry tasks including repairing and installing wood fixtures, flooring, and finishes.Handle painting, wallpapering, surface preparation, and refinishing to meet quality standards.Maintain commercial kitchen equipment, electrical panels, lighting, and plumbing fixtures.Operate, repair, and maintain mechanical laundry equipment. Qualifications & Skills Minimum 5 years of experience in hotel or resort maintenance.Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams.Proficient in using hand and power tools.Experience with energy management systems and CMMS software.EPA 608 Universal Certification required.Preferred expertise in wood staining, flooring, wallpaper hanging, or commercial kitchen appliances. Additional Details: Must be at least 18 years old, available for night shifts including weekends and holidays. The role offers a pay rate of $36.78 per hour and may include benefits such as medical and financial coverage.
