Responsibilities
- Perform preventative maintenance of all equipment.
- Troubleshoot complex maintenance problems and develop creative solutions.
- Perform maintenance duties as necessary.
- Maintain all refrigeration equipment in each outlet.
- Repair and maintain all machinery at property.
- Establish schedules for repairs and preventative maintenance and ensure they are adhered to.
- Handle independent work responsibility and with good judgment.
- Interface with other departments.
- Use drain-clearing equipment when required.
- Operate scissor and boom lifts and climb ladders to access elevated areas and equipment.
- Maintain knowledge of safety procedures for Lock out / Tag out procedures for all types of stored energy.
- Ensure accurate record keeping.
- Provide a current Nevada Motor Vehicle Report every 6 months, and immediately notify the department leader of any changes to the Nevada Driver's License status.
Requirements
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- At least two (2) years working with commercial kitchen equipment repair, refrigeration, plumbing, commercial ware washing equipment, and ice machines.
- Experience repairing Hobart, Moyer Diebel, Jackson, Stero, Insinger, and Glass Tender ware wash equipment.
- Experience repairing Manitowoc, Hoshizaki, Kold Draft, and Scotsman Ice Machines.
- General knowledge and comfortability with plumbing, hand tools, welding and soldering, refrigeration, and electrical.
- Beginner skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Must be able to read and understand electrical schematics.
- Maintain a clean DMV record.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Excellent interpersonal skills to deal effectively with guests, management, Team Members, and other outside contacts.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Excellent organizational skills; able to function under time constraints and deadlines with attention to detail.
- Willing and able to work a flexible schedule to include nights and weekends.
- Work in a fast-paced, busy, and somewhat stressful environment.
Certifications, Licenses, Registrations
- Must be able to qualify for licenses and permits required by federal, state and local regulations.
Physical Requirements
- While performing the duties of this job, the Team Member is regularly required to stand and use hands and fingers to handle or utilize objects, tools, or controls.
- The Team Member frequently is required to reach with hands and arms and talk or hear.
- Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and peripheral vision.
- The Team Member must regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 75 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 pounds, and must have the ability to push, pull, reach, bend, twist, stoop, stack, crouch, kneel and balance when performing job duties in varying work areas such as confined spaces.
- The Team Member must be able to maneuver on level surfaces, as well as up and down stairs.
- The Team Member must be able to think clearly and respond calmly in all situations.
- The Team Member must possess coordination and dexterity to work with power and hand tools such as drills, electric saws, hammers, sewer snakes, etc.
Working Conditions
- While Work is performed indoors, Team Member is exposed to a climate-controlled environment and exposed to various environmental factors such as but not limited to noise, dust and smoke.
- Close spaces while working with others.
- While work is performed outdoors, Team Member could be required to maneuvering for prolonged periods of time, both inside and outside, sometimes in extreme temperatures.
- Respond to visual and aural cues.
