Maintenance Electrician

Responsibilities
- Perform preventative and reactive maintenance on all production equipment and building.
- Install and repair electrical systems, apparatus, and electrical/electronic components of industrial machinery and equipment.
- Work with AC & DC drives, instrumentation, transducers, and hydraulic/pneumatic controls.
- Understand and follow electrical code, manuals, schematic diagrams, blueprints, and other specifications using hand tools, power tools, and electrical/electronic test equipment.
- Test electrical and electronic equipment and components for continuity, current, voltage, and resistance.
- Conduct preventive maintenance programs and keep accurate maintenance records.
- Install, maintain, and calibrate industrial instrumentation and related devices as required.
- Assist and train production employees in proper operation and maintenance of machinery.
- Limited travel may be required.
Requirements
- Must pass an electrical aptitude test.
- Must possess excellent troubleshooting skills.
- PLC troubleshooting experience and work with tension controllers are a plus.
- Computer usage and typing skills are essential.
- Excellent verbal and written communication, including the ability to effectively communicate with internal and external customers.
- Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines, and maintain a positive attitude while providing exemplary customer service.
- Ability to work independently and complete assignments within parameters of instructions, prescribed routines, and standard accepted practices.
- Strong collaboration skills: proactively contributes to group objectives and volunteers to help others.
Pay
Starting pay range: $38.40 to $45.18 per hour based on experience and qualifications. Includes a $5,000 sign-on bonus.
Schedule
- 12-hour shifts with rotating schedule.
- Day Shift: 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM
- Night Shift: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
- Rotation between the two schedules is required.
