About the role
2nd shift (1:30pm – 10pm)
Salary: $42 - $48 per hour
Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair industrial electrical systems up to 480VAC.
- Troubleshoot temperature, pressure, and flow instrumentation.
- Modify PLC logic to support process improvements.
- Complete scheduled and emergency maintenance through the CMMS system.
- Perform preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance.
- Diagnose electrical faults using schematics, blueprints, and electrical measuring devices.
- Repair or replace electrical components and wiring.
- Support food safety, quality, EH&S, and regulatory compliance.
- Execute capital improvement and maintenance projects.
- Scope and estimate maintenance projects.
- Analyze equipment failures and document maintenance activities.
- Train maintenance personnel on electrical systems and safe work practices.
- Monitor critical electrical systems to maximize uptime.
- Coordinate contractor work to ensure safety and quality.
- Identify opportunities to improve equipment reliability, efficiency, and cost.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Technical education in electrical trades or project management preferred.
- Minimum 5 years of industrial electrical maintenance experience in manufacturing.
- Experience troubleshooting industrial electrical systems up to 480V.
- Experience with PLC troubleshooting and basic PLC programming/modifications.
- Strong background reading electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and blueprints.
- Experience with pneumatic, hydraulic, mechanical, and electrical systems.
- Experience using CMMS software.
- Manufacturing experience within food, chemical, pharmaceutical, oil, or process manufacturing.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
- Computer proficiency.
- Authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.
