About the role
The role involves maintaining and repairing electrical systems in various buildings and facilities. This includes troubleshooting electrical issues, installing new wiring, and ensuring all systems comply with safety regulations.
Responsibilities
- Diagnose and repair electrical problems in buildings and facilities
- Install and upgrade electrical systems as needed
- Ensure compliance with local and national electrical codes and safety standards
- Communicate effectively with clients and other tradespeople
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver’s license
- At least 2 years of related work experience
- Knowledge of electrical theory and safety practices
Qualifications
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Good physical condition to perform manual labor
Skills
- Proficiency in using electrical testing equipment
- Knowledge of building codes and safety standards
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
