Primary Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair a broad range of electrical and mechanical systems and equipment.
- Troubleshoot and repair electrically and mechanically driven operating systems, ensuring minimal downtime.
- Read and interpret electrical schematics, including AC/DC controls and systems.
- Work with PLC-controlled equipment and assist with diagnostics and repairs.
- Operate production equipment as needed while performing repairs to maintain continuous operations.
- Support operating functions and collaborate with other maintenance technicians when required.
- Work independently with minimal supervision or as part of a maintenance team, depending on operational needs.
Desired Skills & Knowledge
- Automotive manufacturing experience is a plus.
- Strong electrical and mechanical troubleshooting skills.
- Strong pneumatic troubleshooting experience.
- Experience working in a machine shop environment preferred.
- PLC programming skills and formal training are a plus.
- Experience with Variable Frequency Drives (VFDs) and Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs).
- Experience with 480V three-phase motor control systems.
- Basic welding skills are a plus.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and/or Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS).
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Highly disciplined, safety-oriented, and detail-focused.
- Strong problem-solving ability, logical thinking, and a team-oriented mindset with a strong work ethic.
Shift Requirement
- Ability to work 2nd shift: 5:00 PM – 1:30 AM.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in an industrial manufacturing environment.
