Maintenance Custodian

About the role

Waccamaw Management, an Associa company, is hiring a Maintenance Custodian for its community in Myrtle Beach, SC. With more than 225 branch offices across North America, Associa serves nearly five million residents worldwide through 11,000+ team members and over 43 years of industry leadership.

This is a full-time, forty-hour-per-week position. The work is primarily outdoors, year-round, in all weather conditions.

Schedule

• Tuesday – Saturday, 7:30 am – 4:00 pm
• Weekend work required
• Full-time, 40 hours per week

Responsibilities

• Light maintenance duties (painting, replacing bulbs, power washing, etc.)
• Custodial duties: cleaning common areas, mopping, sweeping, vacuuming
• Ensuring grounds are free of litter and debris
• Emptying trash receptacles and keeping dumpster area clean
• Cleaning restrooms
• Using a blower for parking lots and stairs
• Maintaining cleanliness of pool(s) and pool areas
• Reporting project progress and updates to manager(s)

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED required
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
• Reliable transportation
• Must pass background check and drug screen
