Maintenance Custodian

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

• Responsible for cleanliness of AliMed buildings.
• Normal maintenance of office spaces, bathrooms, conference rooms and common areas.
• Affords assistance with and performance of semi-skilled tasks of a general nature in connection with maintenance, repair and construction tasks in the upkeep of buildings, equipment and grounds.
• Inspects properties and communicates with management regarding proper grounds keeping and general cleanup and maintenance.
• Performs general grounds keeping on an as needed basis.
• Snow and ice removal with shovels, snow blowers, and a snowplow equipped vehicle in season.
• Prepares requisition supplies and equipment needed for cleaning.
• Performs other maintenance tasks as assigned.

Education And/or Work Experience Requirements

• Ability to read and write English.
• Ability to do basic math.
• Has good organizational skills.
• Requires attention to details and ability to work independently.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with federal, state and local standards, including meeting qualitative and/or quantitative standards.
• Ability to maintain regular, punctual attendance.
• Must have a valid Driver's License.
• Must be able to lift and carry up to >70 lbs.
• Must be able to talk, listen and speak clearly.
