About the Role

The Maintenance Coordinator will perform daily storeroom activities and manage procurement of manufacturing parts and supplies. Responsibilities include coordinating the purchasing and receiving of spare parts, maintaining repair and inspection reports, and tracking/closing work orders.

Responsibilities

  • Perform daily storeroom activities including parts ordering, expediting, receiving, inspecting, cataloging, stocking, issuing, and inventory control.
  • Manage computerized storeroom operations; compare inventories to record management systems or compute figures from records such as purchase invoices.
  • Investigate and analyze new sources of supply while complying with environmental regulations (e.g., chemical purchases) and maintaining vendor relationships.
  • Meet established budgets and inventory levels.
  • Stock and issue materials or merchandise.
  • Plan, implement, and follow up on best practices in stores and purchasing.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • One-year certificate from college or technical school; or three to six months of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
