About the role

MGS has an exciting opportunity for a Maintenance Coordinator to join the MGS Richfield Manufacturing team.

Responsibilities

  • Facilitate repair and component replacement duties associated with molding equipment, automation, facilities, HVAC, Compressed air/Chiller Systems, and other machinery as necessary.
  • Schedule and provide feedback on the preventative maintenance work being performed by technicians, on Molding and Automation equipment.
  • Order parts, organize the inventory, and verify availability in advance of scheduling work.
  • Follow up on PM task completion and make additions, and modifications to the PM documentation and the implementation process.
  • Manage daily shipments of products/packages.
  • Receive internal/external shipments, verify packing slips, and follow up on invoicing issues.
  • May prepare and set up machinery for scheduled production runs.
  • Organize and track re-calibration schedules for Molding, Automation, and Metrology machinery per annual preventative maintenance plan.
  • Read and interpret equipment manuals and work orders to extract required maintenance and service processes and techniques.
  • Able to work independently on assigned tasks as well as to accept direction on given assignments.
  • Provide feedback (written is required) on effectiveness of documentation including Preventative maintenance documentation, set-up guides, and any troubleshooting records.
  • Any other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Completion of an accredited two-year technical college program, in a related field of study, or three to five years related experience or accrued on-the-job training and experience is preferred.
  • LOTO and Forklift certification required.
  • Understanding of basic hydraulic and electrical systems along with proper safety issues.
  • Basic understanding of electrical and hydraulic prints.
  • Basic understanding of ladder logic or PLC programming.
  • Understand and utilize general safety knowledge within the work environment.

Qualifications

Ability to work independently on assigned tasks as well as to accept direction on given assignments.

Skills

  • Knowledge of basic hydraulic and electrical systems.

  • Strong organizational and communication skills.
