About the role

We are seeking an energetic, skilled Maintenance Coordinator for expansion openings in our facility, Penn Yan, NY. This opportunity will require flexibility to work weekends and overtime.

Responsibilities

  • Cook diagnose and correct equipment malfunctions.
  • Participate in formulating and administering the division’s short- and long-range goals and objectives for business growth.
  • Check incoming parts into inventory and update inventory counts.
  • Create new stock locations.
  • Update parts data in our inventory system to reflect current supplier, manufacturer, Stock location and financial information.
  • Keep the parts room clean and orderly.
  • Receive UPS & FedEx in, deliver packages.
  • Check out parts, make work orders.
  • Complete work orders.
  • Other Duties assigned by supervisor.

Requirements

  • Ability to diagnose and correct equipment malfunctions.
  • Strong communication skills; ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Self-motivated with honesty, reliability, and accountability.
  • Able to follow written and oral instructions.
  • Must be flexible with work hours.
  • Maintain compliance with KanPak/GSF Code of Business Conduct, policies and procedures, management systems, and all applicable Environmental, Health, Safety, and other regulations.
  • Act according to KanPak’s Creed & Values.
  • High School / GED required.
  • Experience in database management preferred.
  • Previous experience with Inventory management preferred.
  • Technical knowledge of basic equipment components.

Pay & Benefits

Pay: $22.00/hr. to $24.00/hr.

Schedule & Setting

  • Shift Times: 2 p.m.- 10 p.m.
  • Days: Weekend days required
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Work involves bending, stooping, kneeling, and standing for prolonged periods.
