About the role
TekniPlex Healthcare is seeking a Maintenance Coordinator to join our team at our Madison, WI facility. This position plays a crucial role in maintaining and improving the efficiency of our plant's equipment and facilities.
Responsibilities
- Document Preventive Maintenance (PMs)
- Control and coordinate the PM schedule with operations and planning team
- Work in computerized maintenance management system (CMMS)
- Issue purchasing orders for maintenance department
- Schedule and coordinate with internal and external vendors for machine repairs, general building maintenance, cost improvement projects
- Manage spare part inventory
- Be the point of contact for part procurement
- Schedule all related safety inspections for equipment in facility
- Aid with maintenance projects as needed
- Purchase any equipment, tools, or materials that may be required
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED Certificate
- 2+ years in supporting maintenance or production roles
- Coursework in mechanical drawing, electricity, pneumatics, hydraulics, and blueprint reading, advantageous
- Repair work experience preferred
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
- Proficient in Asset Essentials Preferred (CMMS)
- Experience working in a manufacturing environment is a plus
Qualifications
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals
- Ability to write routine reports and legibly complete time cards and work orders
- Ability to read, analyze, and interpret technical procedures and read blueprints and technical drawings, such as machine, mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and electrical
- Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small groups situations to other employees of the organization
- Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals
- Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent
- Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra, geometry, fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations
Reasoning Abilities
- Solve practical problems and deal with a variety of variable in situations where only limited standardization exists
- Interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form
- Establish facts, and draw valid conclusions
- Interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form

Pay and Schedule
The pay range for this position is between $21 - $29 per hour, based on experience.
