About the role
TekniPlex Healthcare is seeking a Maintenance Coordinator for its Madison, WI facility. This position plays a crucial role in maintaining and coordinating the upkeep of equipment and facilities.
Responsibilities
- Document and control the Preventive Maintenance (PM) schedule with operations and planning teams
- Work in a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS)
- Issue purchasing orders for maintenance department
- Schedule and coordinate with internal and external vendors for machine repairs, general building maintenance, and cost improvement projects
- Manage spare part inventory
- Be the point of contact for part procurement
- Schedule all related safety inspections for equipment in the facility
- Aid with maintenance projects as needed
- Purchase any equipment, tools, or materials that may be required
- Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED Certificate
- 2+ years in supporting maintenance or production roles
- Coursework in mechanical drawing, electricity, pneumatics, hydraulics, and blueprint reading, advantageous
- Repair work experience preferred
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
- Proficient in Asset Essentials (CMMS), preferred
- Experience working in a manufacturing environment is a plus

Physical Demands
- Frequent standing, walking, talking, hearing, reaching, and using hands
- Occasional lifting up to 50 pounds
- Regularly required to use hands for finger, hand, and arm movements
- Occasionally required to sit, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl
- Ability to adjust focus and taste/olfactory senses
Work Environment
- Frequent exposure to moving mechanical parts and vibration
- Occasional exposure to high, precarious places, fumes, toxic, flammable, or caustic chemicals, outside weather conditions, and extreme heat
- Moderate noise levels in the work environment
