Maintenance Associate III

Essential Functions
- Electrical Knowledge (24V DC, 110V, 120V, 220V, 480V)
- Knowledge of motors and motor controls
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics
- Basic knowledge on plumbing, welding, and forklift operation
- Ability to read a voltage meter
- Complete all work orders and preventative maintenance as assigned
- Capability to use and navigate through maintenance management programs (SAP, UpKeep, etc.)
- Demonstrate mechanical knowledge and aptitude
- Follow proper safety guidelines including point of work risk assessment and lockout/tagout
- Troubleshoot, repair, and install parts on machines and equipment
- Ability to work independently or in a team setting
- Knowledge and proper use of hand and power tools
- Perform visual inspections and maintenance of production equipment
- May initiate purchase order for parts and machines
- Notifies department manager of unusual situations
- Follows safety and security rules and keeps work area in a clean and orderly condition
- Follows all good manufacturing practices (GMPs) and wear all required PPE in designated areas
- Attention to detail in all performed activities
Additional Functions
In addition to the essential functions listed above, the incumbent may perform additional tasks as assigned.
Job Qualifications
- Post high school mechanical or building trades, or equivalent combination of education and work experience accepted
- Seven (7) + years of experience in building trades and/or machine repairs, including but not limited to plumbing, electrical, carpentry, etc.
- Seven (7) + years of experience in preventive maintenance, troubleshooting and repair of material handling equipment, conveyor systems, and automated equipment.
Working Conditions
- Material and Equipment Directly Used: General warehouse equipment, general office equipment, MS Office, Shipping, and proprietary inventory management software
- Working Environment/Physical Activities: Operate material handling equipment, machinery, and tools, lift and carry up to 75 pounds, sitting or standing, using hands, stoop, bend, or crawl, climbing steps and/or ladders, standing, walking, sitting
Environment Factors
- This position requires no travel per week in a local area
- Flexibly to work all assigned schedules and overtime as required based on business needs. On-calls schedules as applicable

$25.05 - $30.63
