Primary Responsibilities
- Work independently to inspect and maintain machinery and equipment in a manufacturing plant environment.
- Identify and resolve equipment safety hazards and perform safety repairs as directed.
- Conduct appropriate preventive and corrective maintenance throughout the plant.
- Replace, overhaul, or fabricate broken and damaged components as needed, to include: wiring, relays, PLC's, switches, electric motors, user interfaces, digital & analog inputs/outputs, positioning devices, and controls.
- Perform advanced troubleshooting and repairs: diagnose malfunctioning systems, isolate faults, determine correction actions, and organize & carryout repairs as necessary.
- Ensure compliance with all applicable electrical codes and Lockout/Tagout procedures, in order to execute repairs and maintenance.
- Aid in the planning, development, and installation of facility upgrades and repairs including wiring, conduit, and electrical distribution equipment.
- Operate and maintain various electrical and electronic equipment including 24VDC (and lower) control circuitry and 120/208/240/480VAC equipment and distribution panels IAW electrical code.
- Apply a working knowledge of motor controllers, VFD's, sensors, and motion control devices to the maintenance of multi-axis automated machines.
- Perform miscellaneous maintenance duties, as assigned.
- Provide training and guidance to other Maintenance Technicians.
Qualifications
- 3 years’ experience as an industrial maintenance technician.
- Ability to read electrical blueprints and schematics.
- Ability to work in a strong safety-focused environment.

Pay and Schedule
- Pay rate for this position is $35.15 per hour.
- There is a $2.00 per hour differential for 2nd Shift.
Schedule
- 1st Shift work hours are 5:00am - 1:30pm (M-F)
- 2nd Shift work hours are 3:30pm to 2:00am (M-Th)
