About the role

Full-Time Maintenance Assistant position with a Monday through Friday 1st shift schedule, including on-call duty every other weekend.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot building mechanical problems.
• Perform miscellaneous repairs, scheduled, and preventative maintenance on equipment to ensure satisfactory operations.
• Maintain working knowledge of electrical systems, heating, ventilating, and air conditioning systems.
• Follow established safety rules, policies, and procedures of the maintenance department.
• On-call duty.
• Other duties as assigned by the Maintenance Director and Administrator.

Requirements

• Maintenance apprenticeship desirable.
• Previous long-term care experience is desirable.
• Experience in basic repair and maintenance such as plumbing, carpentry, and painting.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to work independently or as part of a group.
• Computer knowledge.

Previous long-term care experience is preferred but not required.

Schedule

Monday through Friday, 1st shift, with on-call duty every other weekend.
