About the role
Responsible for fleet maintenance. Responsible for adherence to all governmental regulations and compliance with company policies and procedures. Performs other related duties as assigned or required. Required to achieve the company-approved minimum 4 O.E.M (Original Equipment Manufacturer) certifications within one year from date of employment. This position also requires participation in the local union and payment of union dues.
Responsibilities
- Perform fleet maintenance on company vehicles and work equipment
- Ensure adherence to all governmental regulations and company policies
- Diagnose and repair vehicles, equipment, and specialized tools
- Perform heavy manual labor without restriction
- Complete formal training and schooling sessions
- Achieve a minimum of 4 O.E.M certifications within one year of employment
Requirements
- High School diploma or GED
- Valid CDL Class A driver's license with Hazmat and Tanker endorsements (or ability to attain and retain)
- Thorough working knowledge of operation, maintenance, diagnosis, and repair of company vehicles and equipment through formalized training
- Capability to perform heavy manual labor without restriction
- Demonstrated safe behavior
- Effective oral, written, and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work without direct supervision
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with fluid power hydraulics
- 4 O.E.M certifications or experience with diesel-hydraulic vehicles
