Core Responsibilities
- Perform thorough inspections, diagnostics, maintenance and repairs to vehicle automotive systems including engine, transmission, electrical steering, suspension, brakes, air conditioning, etc.
- Keep accurate records of work performed and parts used.
- Communicate additional services needed to the Service Advisor, providing an estimate of time needed to complete additional repairs.
- Execute work specified on the repair order per dealership standards.
- Complete warranty repair work in compliance with manufacturer specifications.
- Thoroughly document vehicle inspection findings and maintenance recommendations.
Desired Qualifications And Experience
- 2+ years of automotive service technician experience.
- ASE and/or manufacturer certifications are a huge plus!
- Demonstrates thorough workmanship coupled with strong troubleshooting and problem solving abilities.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- General computer skills.
- Must have your own tools.
- Must have a valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
- Must pass a pre-employment drug screening and a background check.
