Main OR Circulator RN- Full Time

About the role

The Boise Main Operating Room at Saint Alphonsus Health System is seeking a Registered Nurse with at least one year of RN Circulator experience. This position is ideal for candidates who thrive in a fast-paced, innovative environment and are passionate about providing exceptional care.

Responsibilities

• Circulate on a primary and secondary specialty team
• Precept for specialty teams
• Serve as a patient advocate by promoting physical, spiritual, and emotional well-being
• Provide hands-on patient care while collaborating with colleagues
• Maintain accurate documentation and utilize resources wisely
• Educate patients and administer prescribed medications and treatments
• Develop care plans based on patient needs

Requirements

• Licensed in the State of Idaho as a Registered Nurse as defined by the Idaho State Board of Nursing
• Basic Life Support certification from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross is required (ACLS and/or PALS may be accepted in lieu of BLS)

Qualifications

• Experience circulating on a primary and secondary specialty team
• Ability to educate patients and administer prescribed medications and treatments
• Knowledge of developing care plans based on patient needs
