Responsibilities
- Maintains vigilance over patient’s condition throughout the surgical process.
- Monitors and manages monitoring equipment, fluid lines, tubes, drains, and catheters as necessary.
- Supports operative extremities as needed.
- Demonstrates good judgment in making appropriate nursing actions and maintains control during emergency situations.
- Completes CPR, PALS, and ACLS certifications/recertifications.
- Makes independent clinical decisions regarding patient care and communicates these decisions to relevant personnel.
- Works collaboratively with other healthcare providers and demonstrates a team player attitude.
- Utilizes work time efficiently.
Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
- Current state RN license.
- CPR and ACLS certifications required.
- Minimum of two years’ experience in the operating room.
