Our company processes bulk mailings for a variety of customers, and this position plays an important role in making sure those mailings are prepared accurately and efficiently. We are looking for someone who pays close attention to the work in front of them and naturally notices when something doesn't look right. In this position, catching a small mistake before a mailing goes out can make a big difference. What We're Looking For Highly detail-oriented and takes pride in doing work correctlyAble to spot mistakes, inconsistencies, or unusual situations without being told what to look forQuick learner who can pick up new processes and procedures naturallyFast and efficient worker who can maintain a good production paceAble to stay focused and accurate while performing repetitive tasksTakes responsibility for the quality of their own workComfortable asking questions when something doesn't seem rightReliable, punctual, and willing to be part of a teamBasic computer skills and the ability to learn new software and equipmentPrevious mailing, postal, or bulk-mail experience is a plus, but is not required. Knowledge of USPS regulations and mailing requirements is a plus. We are willing to train the right person. The ability to learn, retain information, and become confident working independently is more important than previous mail-room experience. What You'll Do Prepare and process bulk mailings for our customersSort, organize, and prepare mail according to job specificationsOperate mail processing and finishing equipmentFollow mailing instructions carefullyInspect work for errors and inconsistenciesHelp ensure mailings are completed accurately and on scheduleOccasionally process and meter in-house mailPerform other mail room duties as needed The right person for this job doesn't just follow instructions—they pay attention to what they're doing and notice when something doesn't look right.
