Mail Inserter Operator-1st & 2nd Shift Immediate openings!

About the role

You come to work armed with energy, wit, and the willingness to pitch in with the team. Most of your time is spent setting up and operating our mail inserter machine in accordance with each order's specifications. Throughout your shift, you verify order information on audit sheets, complete maintenance logs, and report inserter downtime as required.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrated ability to follow and adhere to safety requirements
• Verify order information on audit sheets
• Set up mail inserter in accordance with specifications
• Meet production and quality standards, schedules, and deadlines
• Troubleshoot mechanical issues
• Knowledge in basic math, fractions, and percentages
• Confident with computers and technology
• Mechanically inclined
• Frequently able to lift 10-50 lbs and bend, push, and pull carts
• Able to stand for 8-12 hours, or per shift 8, 10, 12
• Perform moderately complex product change-over activities
• Complete maintenance logs and report inserter downtime as required
• Maintain cleanliness

Requirements

• Operate mail inserter machines (BlueCrest/Pitney Bowes experience preferred but not required)
• Demonstrated ability to follow and adhere to safety requirements
