About the role
The Customer Service Representative assists customers with all store services and products under the supervision of the Center Owner or Manager. Duties include operating the point-of-sale system, copiers/printers, rental computers, and other store equipment. Additional responsibilities may involve training and mentoring other Customer Service Representatives.
Responsibilities
- Affords assistance with shipping and packaging services, printing estimates/orders, and other services offered by the franchise owner.
- Affords assistance with customer's product and service needs in person, through email, and by phone.
- Processes customer sales through the point-of-sale system.
- Upsells, cross-sells, and actively participates in marketing and promotional initiatives.
- Affords assistance in opening and closing the center, cash register, and other center systems.
- Maintains the center consistent with established standards.
- Interacts with UPS, FedEx, DHL, and USPS couriers, other vendors, and all store staff.
- Sorts and deposits mail in private mailboxes.
- Captures, completes tasks, and organizes Virtual Mail.
Requirements
- Previous customer service or sales experience in a retail environment.
- Exceptional customer service skills.
- Ability to translate customer requirements into final products or services.
- Assists in handling customer complaints and problems in a professional manner.
- Multitasking – must have the ability to simultaneously process multiple tasks.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Outstanding time management and organizational skills.
- A high school diploma or equivalent required.
- Valid driver’s license required.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office applications, Google Suite, Windows operating system, and other computer hardware and software.
- Able to work flexible hours.
- Some supervisory skills preferred.
- Notary Public certification may be required.
