Magic Adventures School Age Child Care - High School Aide (Summer Positions)

Job Summary

Magic Adventures School Age Childcare Program is seeking responsible high school students passionate about working with children ages Pre-K - Grade 5. Summer program positions start on June 9, 2026, with shifts from 6 AM to 6 PM Monday through Friday. Positions are seasonal but may extend into the school year for before and after school programs.

Responsibilities

• Support the planning and implementation of the child care program and its daily activities.
• Supervise children in assigned areas with daily activities, as delegated.
• Manage students' behaviors and help enforce program rules, regulations, and safety procedures.
• Participate in the cleaning, organizing, and setting up of games, materials, and supplies as needed.
• Record-keeping, including attendance, discipline reports, health and safety reports, and other reports as required.
• Positively communicate and interact with parents regarding the child's arrival and departure.
• Maintain confidentiality of student information.
• Experience working with diverse students and families.

Requirements

• Currently enrolled in High School and 16 years old by June 9, 2026.
• Current First Aid & CPR certification or must obtain within the first 90 days of employment (certification provided free of charge by Magic Adventures upon hire).
• Previous school age child care experience preferred.

Pay

$15.50/Hour
