Summer School Positions
About the role
Fargo Public Schools is seeking individuals to staff its Extended School Year (ESY) program. Special education teachers, general education teachers, and support staff are encouraged to apply. ESY will be June 8- 25, Monday through Thursday.
Responsibilities
- Commitment to three full weeks (12 days) of summer school
- Teaching summer school sessions
- Supporting students in various roles including Teachers, Paraeducators, Speech-Language Pathologists (SLP), and Paraeducators for Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPP)
Requirements
- Certified teaching certification in Elementary Education or Special Education
- Applicants must attach: Cover Letter, Resume/CV, Three (3) Letters of Reference, Complete transcripts for each degree, and for Teacher Applicants, Current teaching license. Applicants who are residents of ND and eligible to claim veteran's preference must upload a Form DD214. Claims for disabled veteran's preference must include a current statement of disabled status from the Veterans Affairs Office.

- Experience and education relevant to the minimum qualifications and job duties
Skills
- Ability to teach effectively
- Knowledge of special education and/or general education curriculum
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Benefits

Pay
- Teachers: $22.04 - $30.64/hour
- SLP: $25.09 - $30.64/hour
- Paraeducators: $18.06 - $22.48/hour
- SLPP: $27.24 - $33.23/hour
Schedule
Three full weeks (12 days) of summer school, Monday through Thursday.
