High School Aide - Magic Adventures School Age Child Care (School Year 26-27)

Job Summary

Magic Adventures School Age Childcare Program is seeking responsible high school students passionate about working with children Pre-K - Grade 5. This position is specifically for high school Aides during the School Year 26-27. Shifts are from 2-5PM, 2-5:30PM, and 2-6PM. Additionally, shifts may extend during early release days, non-school days, and summer.

Responsibilities

• Support the planning and implementation of the child care program and its daily activities.
• Supervise children in assigned areas with daily activities, as delegated.
• Manage students' behaviors and help enforce program rules, regulations, and safety procedures.
• Participate in the cleaning, organizing, and setting up of games, materials, and supplies as needed.
• Record-keeping, including attendance, discipline reports, health and safety reports, and other reports as required.
• Positively communicate and interact with parents regarding the child's arrival and departure.
• Maintain confidentiality of student information.
• Knowledge and application of technology.
• Experience working with diverse students and families.

Requirements

• Currently enrolled in High School and at least 16 years old by September 1, 2026.
• Must have current First Aid & CPR certification or obtain within the first 90 days of employment (provided by Magic Adventures).
• Previous school age child care experience preferred.

Pay

$15.75/Hour for Magic Adventure Aide
