Education Support Specialist - Magic Adventures Childcare

Job Summary

Magic Adventures School Age Childcare Program is seeking responsible adults passionate about working with children in Preschool through Grade 5. Positions are available at Eastview Education Center, Little Mountain Elementary, and Pinewood Elementary. School year shifts include before school (5:45-8 AM, 6-8 AM, 6:30-8 AM, 7-8 AM) and after school (2-5 PM, 2-5:30 PM, 2-6 PM) programs from Monday to Friday. Summer and non-school day shifts are also available.

Essential Skills

• Supervise children in assigned areas with daily activities
• Manage students' behaviors and enforce program rules, regulations, and safety procedures
• Participate in the cleaning, organizing, and setting up of games, materials, and supplies
• Record-keeping, including attendance, discipline reports, health and safety reports, and other reports
• Communicate positively with parents regarding child's arrival and departure
• Knowledge and application of technology
• Maintain confidentiality of student information
• Experience working with diverse students and families

Education and Experience

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Current First Aid & CPR certification or obtain within 90 days of employment (provided by Magic Adventures)
• Previous school age childcare experience preferred

Pay and Schedule

Hourly wage based on experience ($16.01/hour-$21.21/hour). Positions are subject to the Education Support Specialist contract.
