About the role

These positions involve low to intermediate skill labor, such as placing hams on machinery to be sliced, operating bandsaws, bagging hams, etc. This position could work in any department of this pork processing facility.

Physical requirements

• Standing, walking, bending, stretching, climbing, pushing, pulling, and reaching are involved in all areas continuously
• May involve climbing stairs/ladders
• Lifting requirement varies from 0–65 lbs

Work environment

• Environment is cold and damp
• Temperature ranges from 35 to 45 degrees

Schedule

• Must be able and willing to work 6 days a week, Monday–Saturday
• Occasional Sundays possible during the busy season

Requirements

• This location is accepting rehires
• Candidates who have previously worked for Tyson will have a minimum rehire waiting period of 180 days and a 3‑time hire limit
