Madison Ham Plant General Production A and B Shift

These positions involve low to intermediate skill labor, such as placing hams on machinery to be sliced, operating bandsaws, bagging hams, and other tasks across various departments of this pork processing facility.

Responsibilities

• Perform tasks such as placing hams on slicing machinery
• Operate bandsaws and other equipment
• Bag hams and handle other packaging duties
• Work in any department within the pork processing facility as needed

Physical Requirements

• Must be willing and able to perform physical job requirements with or without reasonable accommodation
• Continuous standing, walking, bending, stretching, climbing, pushing, pulling, and reaching
• May involve climbing stairs or ladders
• Work in cold and damp environment (35–45°F)
• Lifting requirements vary from 0–65 lbs

Schedule

• 6 days per week (Monday–Saturday)
• Occasional Sundays during busy seasons

Requirements

• Proof of authorization to work legally in the U.S.
• Pass a urinalysis screening as part of a post-offer health assessment
• Certain roles may require a background check
