Responsibilities

  • Performs operations related to product assembly.
  • Exhibits knowledge of operations in assigned work area, assists in training of other operators, and projects a positive example for others to follow in the workplace.
  • Solves problems of limited scope and complexity.

Requirements

  • Freedom to act, under close supervision, in semi-structured assignments that normally require adherence to defined procedures and/or specific, detailed instructions with limited originality.
  • Qualified to operate equipment in assigned work area, if necessary.
  • Maintains a positive attitude with respect to changes in processes, methods, and work assignments.
  • Once trained, able to work with little supervision.
  • Possesses communication skills sufficient to read and write clearly and distinctly in English.
  • Handles multiple tasks simultaneously.

Qualifications

  • Demonstrates understanding of the product and process flow for assigned work area(s).
  • Maintains high standards in quality and throughput, within company norms for rejects and output.

Skills

  • Demonstrates ability to train other operators.
