Essential Duties And Responsibilities
- Assemble electrical devices, systems, and components according to provided instructions, drawings, or prints
- Measure, cut, bend, label, and paint components per design requirements using appropriate tools
- Fit and assemble mechanical or electrical components according to specifications
- Perform fabrication tasks using tools
- Identify and resolve issues that affect proper operation
- Handle incoming and outgoing materials (includes loading/unloading, organizing inventory, and packing finished products)
- Maintain a clean, organized, and hazard-free work area
- Maintain proper documentation and communicate issues or updates with supervisors
Safety/Hazard Recognition & Elimination
- Pre-plan and identify the methods to eliminate hazards daily by work task
- Execute skill in observing habits and hazards of others and bringing it to their attention
- Uphold safety as the most important goal of our company
- Support goal of achieving zero accidents
- Promote and encourage open communication between field and office regarding all safety concerns, suggestions, improvements, and PPE needed
Qualifications And Requirements
- High school diploma (or equivalent) required
- 0-1+ years of relevant experience in Mechanical Troubleshooting, Machining, Assembly, or Mechatronics
- Possess basic math skills
- Ability to read mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic schematics
Skills And Abilities
- Positive safety attitude and personal integrity -- both are non-negotiable
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (including Excel, Word, Outlook, and Teams)
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
Physical Requirements
- Frequent time spent in warehouse and shop, exposing employee to noise and moving machinery
- Constant moving on your feet
- Repetitive use of arms, hands, and fingers
