About the role

Machinery Trader Sales Internship at Sandhills Global in Lincoln, Nebraska. Sales Interns earn an average of $20/hour+ after completing training with commission opportunity. Initially, a high focus is placed on training and development. Interns have exposure to other areas of the company, including marketing, to gain a holistic view of what makes Sandhills successful. Continuing education is also an important part of the role as our products and technology evolves.

Responsibilities

• Gather listings and sell advertisements from customers in industries served by Sandhills Global, including the construction equipment industry.
• Learn about company products and business objectives, and shadow other department members to gain exposure to sales strategies.
• Acquire new and existing accounts as well as service current customers.
• Learn and apply different sales techniques and develop advertisements for customers.
• Research prospective advertisers, place sales orders, and maintain sales records.
• Collect payment.
• Assume other duties as assigned.

Pay

Interns earn an average of $20/hour+ after completing training, with commission opportunities. Established interns earn an average of $25/hour+.

Schedule

Internships can start at any point in the semester. Ability to commute to the local office when scheduled is required.
