Machine Technician Lev 1-111 (2nd/3rd)

About the role

The Machine Operator I-III (2nd & 3rd Shift) plays a critical role in ensuring the efficient and safe operation of manufacturing equipment during non-daytime hours. This position is responsible for setting up, operating, monitoring, and maintaining various machines to produce high-quality products that meet company standards.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate manufacturing machines according to production specifications and safety guidelines.
• Monitor machine performance and product quality, making adjustments as necessary to maintain standards.
• Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of equipment to ensure optimal functionality and prevent breakdowns.
• Identify and report mechanical issues or defects promptly to maintenance teams for resolution.
• Maintain accurate production records and communicate effectively with shift supervisors and team members.
• Adhere strictly to all safety policies and procedures to create a safe working environment.
• Assist in training new operators and support continuous improvement efforts on the production floor.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Basic mechanical aptitude and ability to operate manufacturing machinery.
• Ability to work 2nd or 3rd shift schedules reliably.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
• Physical ability to stand for extended periods and perform manual tasks as required.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience in a manufacturing or production environment.
• Familiarity with safety regulations and quality control standards.
• Basic troubleshooting and maintenance skills related to machinery.
• Ability to read and interpret technical documents such as blueprints or manuals.
• Certification in machine operation or related technical training.
