Machine Technician/Assembler

About the role

As a Machine Technician/Assembler at Besser Company, you will be responsible for maintaining and operating manufacturing equipment, assembling components, and ensuring quality control in the production process.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and operate various manufacturing equipment to ensure smooth production processes.
• Assemble components following detailed blueprints and specifications.
• Perform routine maintenance checks on machinery to prevent breakdowns and ensure optimal performance.
• Work closely with other technicians and engineers to troubleshoot and resolve issues.
• Follow safety protocols to maintain a safe work environment.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 2 years of experience in a manufacturing setting, preferably in a similar role.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
• Basic knowledge of electrical systems and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in using common tools and equipment found in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience with basic computer operations, including Microsoft Office.
• Good communication and problem-solving skills.

Pay

$18.50 - $22.00 per hour, depending on experience.

Schedule

Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM.
