Machine Operator PR04 3rd Shift/Wet Dock/Full Time/Humboldt Plant, TN

About the role

Operate machinery to ensure continuous product flow, monitor and adjust settings, set up and break down equipment, maintain safety and Tyson policies.

Responsibilities

• Operate machinery to ensure continuous flow of product through the production process.
• Monitor and adjust machine settings as needed.
• Notify supervisor if machines require maintenance.
• Maintain a safe work environment and adhere to Tyson policies and procedures.
• Set up and/or break down machines.
• Work in a poultry processing environment with exposure to wet floors, slippery surfaces, production line equipment, repetitive motion, product splash, elevated noise, potential laceration and puncture hazards.
• Follow safety procedures: use designated handrails and walkways, never walk on drain covers, wear required PPE, perform stretching activities, report unsafe conditions.

Requirements

• Minimum 3 months of operator experience (can be combined across employers).
• 180‑day wait period from last termination date.
• Cannot have worked for Tyson more than three times (3X rule).
• Willing and able to perform the physical requirements of the job with or without reasonable accommodation.
• Successful completion of On‑the‑Job Training (OJT).

Pay

$19.45 per hour plus an additional $2 per hour shift differential.
