Machine Operator PR04 2nd Shift/Pet Food/Full Time/Humboldt Plant, TN

About the role

This position is responsible for operating machinery to ensure the continuous flow of product through the production process and ensuring proper ingredients/supplies are being used on the line. Responsible for monitoring and adjusting machine settings as needed and notifying supervisor if machines should require maintenance while maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to Tyson policies and procedures. Responsible for setting up machine and/or breaking down machine.

Responsibilities

• Operate machinery to maintain continuous product flow
• Monitor and adjust machine settings as needed
• Notify supervisor of maintenance needs
• Set up and break down machines
• Maintain a safe work environment and follow Tyson policies and procedures
• Use designated handrails and walkways; avoid drain covers
• Wear required PPE at all times
• Perform stretching activities before and during shift to reduce repetitive‑motion injuries
• Report unsafe conditions immediately to leadership

Requirements

• Minimum 3 months of operator experience (can be combined across employers)
• 180‑day wait period from last termination date
• 3X rule: candidates cannot have worked for Tyson three times previously
• Successful completion of On‑the‑Job Training (OJT)
• Ability to perform the physical requirements of the job with or without reasonable accommodation

Pay

$19.45 per hour plus an additional $2.00 shift differential
