Machine Operator - Nights
Job Description
Vestcom, a standalone business unit of Avery Dennison, is the industry leader in technology-driven shelf-edge solutions. We are seeking a Machine Operator who thrives on performance and precision. The role involves operating and troubleshooting label machines to ensure high-quality production meeting critical retail deadlines.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate & Troubleshoot: Set up and run label machines efficiently while maintaining a "zero-defect" mindset.
- Resource Management: Minimize waste and maintain an accurate log of raw materials using our ERP system.
- Maintenance: Responsible for the upkeep of all dies and reporting technical issues to the Facility Manager.
- Safety & Quality: Maintain a clean, organized workspace and follow all SOPs and safety protocols (PPE).
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED.
- 1–2 years of related experience in a production environment.
- Strong mechanical skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for the duration of a shift.
- Strong color vision and manual dexterity.
