Machine Operator - Multiple Levels Based on Experience
About the role
The Pitney Road, Lancaster, PA facility of Dart Container is seeking Machine Operators at multiple levels based on experience.
Responsibilities
- Safely operate production machinery to run efficiently while maintaining high standards of quality.
- Work shifts including 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM (overnight) and 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM (day).
- Operate under a 2-2-3 rotation with every other weekend required.
Requirements
- Machine Operator I: Math skills, basic mechanical aptitude, ability to observe and follow workplace procedures, and proficiency in the English language.
- Machine Operator II: Two years of experience operating manufacturing and process control equipment, previous plant production software experience, and mechanical aptitude.
Qualifications
- Machine Operator I: Math skills, familiarity with converting decimals, experience in a manufacturing environment, and previous material handling or machine operations experience.
- Machine Operator II: Previous powered industrial truck experience, and experience in paper converting, chemical/plastics processing, or packaging industries.
Preferred Skills and Qualifications
- Machine Operator I: Experience in a manufacturing environment, six months material handling or machine operations experience, technical school or apprenticeship experience, and previous powered industrial truck experience.
- Machine Operator II: Previous powered industrial truck experience, and experience in paper converting, chemical/plastics processing, or packaging industries.

Pay
$21+/hr depending on experience + $2/hr shift premium for overnights.
Schedule
