Machine Operator - Multiple Levels Based on Experience
About the role
Join our team at Dart Container's Lithonia, GA facility as a Machine Operator. You will operate production machinery safely to maintain efficiency and quality standards.
Responsibilities
- Safely operate production machinery
- Maintain high standards of quality
- Follow processes and workplace procedures
- Use plant production software, especially SAP
- Apply math skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division
- Show mechanical aptitude and problem-solving abilities
- Convert decimals to fractions or vice versa
- Observe, follow, understand, and evaluate processes
Qualifications
- Two (2) years of experience operating manufacturing and process control equipment
- Previous plant production software experience required; SAP experience preferred
- Math skills including simple addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division
- Familiarity with machines and tools and their designs, repairs, and maintenance
- Observation, following, understanding, and evaluating processes demonstrated
- Demonstrated proficiency with the English language for effective training and communication
Preferred Skills and Qualifications
- Previous powered industrial truck experience
- Paper converting, chemical/plastics processing, or packaging industrial experience

Pay and Schedule
$21.45+/hr depending on experience plus a $2/hr shift premium for overnights shifts.
Schedule
Shifts available from 8pm to 8am.
