Machine Operator II

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

• Perform various tasks on machines including Mill, Lathe, Laser, Brake Press, Burnout Table and Saw.
• Work with other employees as part of a team and be prompt and on time daily for work.
• Willingness to take direction from area supervision and follow that direction.
• Read and understand blueprints and other technical documents required by the job of machinist.
• Become efficient with mechanical equipment and learn all aspects of the job as required.
• Demonstrate a productive and non-disruptive work ethic.
• Create no or limited scrap or rework and continuously improve quality level.
• Follow all company safety rules and policies.
• Maintain company equipment and work areas in a clean and orderly manner.
• Continually strive to improve in all aspects of job requirements.

Qualifications

• Basic computer skills.
• Exceptional attendance.
• Able to lift a maximum of 50 lbs. at times as required by job.
• Able to climb ladders, sit, stand, reach, grab parts up to 10 lbs., and maintain balance to operate equipment.
• Good hand dexterity and balance required to operate all equipment necessary.
• Use of 5 senses to maintain safety for the team and self.
