Machine Operator I – 2nd Shift Device
Responsibilities
- Sets up thermoforming machines for operation per job specifications.
- Mounts dies and molds and loads rolls of raw materials into the machine.
- Engages machine to produce thermoformed parts and maintains continuous operation.
- Performs troubleshooting and quality control checks.
- Performs routine maintenance on thermoforming machines.
- Completes required job tickets.
- Works with Packer/Inspectors to resolve any quality issues as needed.
- Directs Packers/Inspectors to work in other areas when machine is down for troubleshooting or set up.
- Maintains a safe, clean and organized work area.
- Performs other work duties or functions as assigned.
Requirements
- Ability to continuously lift, reach, stand, and walk throughout the day.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Level One: Uses and reads calipers.
- Self-starting, willing to learn, does other tasks as required.
- Knowledge about basic math and English skills to complete paperwork.
- Has good communication skills and is an active team member.
- Maintains a 97% attendance record.
- Completes required job tickets.
- Maintains a good working relationship with inspectors and operators.
- Knows and verifies specification requirements of each part.
- Maintains a safe, organized, and clean work area.
- Assists in setting up machines as needed.
Qualifications
- Experience as a skilled manufacturing operator for at least 6 months.
- Previous machine operator experience for at least 6 months.
- One year previous production line experience preferred.
Skills
- Ability to continuously lift, reach, stand, and walk throughout the day.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Good manual dexterity and agility.
- Good leadership skills.

$24.89/Hour Plus Shift differential $.50

3rd Shift – 3:00 PM – 11:00 PM
