Machine Operator I (2nd Shift)

Position Summary

We are seeking a skilled Machinist to join our team in Houston, MS. The Machine Operator will be responsible for setting up and operating machine equipment.

Key Responsibilities

• Set up and operate machine equipment
• Read and interpret blueprints to determine cutting specifications
• Ensure materials are cut accurately and to the correct dimensions
• Maintain a safe and clean work environment
• Perform routine maintenance on saw equipment

Minimum Qualifications

• Previous experience as a machine Operator or similar role
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints
• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to lift heavy materials
• Excellent communication skills

• Occasionally required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl
• Frequent lifting and/or moving up to 25 pounds; occasional lifting and/or carrying up to 50 pounds
• Specific vision abilities required include close vision, color vision, and ability to adjust focus
• Exposure to moving mechanical parts, fumes, or airborne particles, toxic or caustic chemicals, risk of electrical shock, and explosives
• Noise level in the work environment is very loud where ear protection is necessary
