Machine Operator I (2nd Shift)
Position Summary
We are seeking a skilled Machinist to join our team in Houston, MS. The Machine Operator will be responsible for setting up and operating machine equipment.
Key Responsibilities
- Set up and operate machine equipment
- Read and interpret blueprints to determine cutting specifications
- Ensure materials are cut accurately and to the correct dimensions
- Maintain a safe and clean work environment
- Perform routine maintenance on saw equipment
Minimum Qualifications
- Previous experience as a machine Operator or similar role
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to lift heavy materials
- Excellent communication skills

Physical Demands and Work Environment

- Occasionally required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl
- Frequent lifting and/or moving up to 25 pounds; occasional lifting and/or carrying up to 50 pounds
- Specific vision abilities required include close vision, color vision, and ability to adjust focus
- Exposure to moving mechanical parts, fumes, or airborne particles, toxic or caustic chemicals, risk of electrical shock, and explosives
- Noise level in the work environment is very loud where ear protection is necessary
