About the role
The Machine Operator will be responsible for working from shop drawings, procedures and/or other written, verbal, or electronic instruction, performing a wide variety of operations. Produces parts by programming, setting up and operating a computer numerical control (CNC) machine.
Responsibilities
- Plans machining by reading, interpreting, understanding, and working from blueprints, schematics, bills of material, routing sheets, labor summaries and other written, electronic, or verbal instruction.
- Work with a variety of ferrous, non-ferrous and alloy materials.
- Programs equipment by entering instructions, setting tool registers, offsets, and compensation.
- Sets up equipment by installing and adjusting tools, attachments, heads, etc.
- Maintains specifications by observing, taking measurements, detecting malfunctions, troubleshooting, adjust and/or programming controls.
- Maintains equipment by completing operator maintenance requirements, following manufacturers and/or company instructions, troubleshooting malfunctions and/or calling for repairs.
- Maintain required records in either written or electronic form.
Qualifications
- A high school diploma or GED preferred.
- 3 to 5 years’ previous experience in an industrial environment preferred.
- Arm/hand steadiness, manual dexterity, perform work in various physical positions including standing, kneeling, bending, and reaching.
- Close vision, distant vision, color vision, depth perception, ability to adjust focus and hand-eye coordination.

Weekend Shift Starting Pay: $25.50/hour working 36 hours a week

Weekend Shift Schedule: Friday - Sunday | 6:00am-6:00pm
