Machine Operator, Friday-Sunday Shift

Our facility is located at 45 Sutton Road | Verona, VA | 24482.

Responsibilities

• Plans machining by reading, interpreting, understanding, and working from blueprints, schematics, bills of material, routing sheets, labor summaries and other written, electronic, or verbal instruction.
• Work with a variety of ferrous, non-ferrous and alloy materials.
• Programs equipment by entering instructions, setting tool registers, offsets, and compensation.
• Sets up equipment by installing and adjusting tools, attachments, heads, etc.
• Maintains specifications by observing, taking measurements, detecting malfunctions, troubleshooting, adjusting, and/or programming controls.
• Maintains equipment by completing operator maintenance requirements, following manufacturers and/or company instructions, troubleshooting malfunctions, and/or calling for repairs.
• Maintain required records in either written or electronic form.

Qualifications

• A high school diploma or GED preferred.
• 3 to 5 years’ previous experience in an industrial environment preferred.
• Arm/hand steadiness, manual dexterity, perform work in various physical positions including standing, kneeling, bending, and reaching.
• Close vision, distant vision, color vision, depth perception, ability to adjust focus and hand-eye coordination.

Pay

Weekend Shift Starting Pay: $25.50/hour working 36 hours a week.

Schedule

Weekend Shift Schedule: Friday - Sunday | 6:00am-6:00pm.
