Machine Operator Cold Forming

Responsibilities

• Operate stamping production machines (both single‑throw and progressive).
• Operate production wire‑form machines; perform cold forming, cold header, and wire‑forming tasks.
• Perform material‑handling duties in a busy metal‑fabrication environment.
• Set up, operate, or tend machines to slit, punch, crimp, notch, bend, or straighten sheet‑fed and coil‑fed metal.
• Read work orders or production schedules to determine specifications, material types, cutting lines, dimensions, and tolerances.

Qualifications

• Strong operator skills for 1st‑shift work.
• Experience with cold‑header and/or cold‑forming machines.
• Good math and measuring ability; willingness to learn punch‑press set‑ups.
• Forklift operation capability.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Ability to lift materials as required.

Pay

$18‑$20 per hour
