Responsibilities
- Work as part of a team in support of a manufacturing operation with a goal of increasing productivity; decreasing downtime and waste.
- Receive and follow directions from the Operator and/or Supervisor.
- Absorb and assist machine operator to set up orders, mount printing and cutting dies, ink adjustments, and ensure quality checks are performed before, during and upon completion of each order.
- Inspect machine during run and notify Operator when acceptable parts are not being produced.
- Absorb in cleanup of equipment.
- Follow all company safety rules and lock-out tag-out procedures.
- Maintain shop and shop equipment per 5S Standards.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- High School Graduate or GED.
- Passionate about maintaining a safe work environment.
- Ability to stack parts up to 30 lbs. for a period of up to 12 hours.
- Ability to work overtime and weekends, as needed.
- Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
Compensation and Benefits
- Starting salary for position: $22.01 per hour.
- Paid Vacation: 2 weeks per calendar year. Pro-rata Vacation during the initial year of hire based upon start date within the calendar year.
