Machine Operator Assistant

Key Responsibilities

• Work safely utilizing a working knowledge of LOTO, PPE, and other safe work practices
• Absorb and assist in performing general set-up of multiple machines
• Load and unload material from machine
• Ensure that the machine is producing quality product
• Ensure proper materials and machine settings are used
• Complete all paperwork and data entry accurately
• Communicate within department on a daily basis on production runs
• Afford assistance in monitoring deviations in materials and running conditions
• Adhere to all environmental, safety and housekeeping standards and regulations

Physical Requirements

• Perform physical activities such as lifting, carrying, and moving up to 50 lbs.
• Stand up to 8+ hours a day
• Squat, twist, and bend

Education And Skills Required

• A high school diploma or GED is preferred
• Ability to use basic computer systems' hardware and software
• Mechanical aptitude and manufacturing experience
