Machine Assistant Operator
Duties
Assist press, convert, and extrude operators with setup, adjustment, operation, cleaning, and loading/unloading of equipment.
Support production of quality printed film, polyethylene film, and finished bags to meet customer packaging requirements.
Requirements
- Lead the pack with basic computer skills and ability to work with and interact effectively with coworkers in a team environment.
- Basic math skills.
- Identify the source of problems on complex machinery and take appropriate corrective action.
- Read, understand, and stay current with all department work instructions and procedures.
- Good organizational skills.
Physical Requirements
- Occasional sitting.
- Occasional standing.
- Frequent walking.
- Occasional below waste level work.
- Frequent reaching above shoulder, reaching over 15” away from body.
- Occasional climbing and balancing, pushing/pulling.
- Lifts up to 40 lbs.
- Occasional lifting above shoulder.
- Must have good vision and hearing and use of both hands.
- Must be able to communicate with coworkers and Crew Leaders.
- Passes company-administered color vision test.
Schedule
Schedule: Straight nights, continuous operating schedule 4 days on, 4 days off, 3 days on, 3 days off rotating through the month. Night shift 7pm to 7 am / Day shift 7am to 7pm.

- Pay: $21.34 + / Hr
