Machine Operator 2nd Shift

About the role

Machine operators run a variety of different machines for our flexible packaging business. They ensure everything is working correctly and keep our machines stocked and running throughout the shift. Operators must be safety-minded and have good attention to detail to maintain the quality expected by our customers.

This is a 2nd shift schedule: Monday - Thursday, 4:15pm - 2:45am, with a $1 shift differential. Training is provided for those without experience.

Responsibilities

• Operate PLC-controlled packaging machines
• Monitor machine performance and maintain productivity
• Complete required paperwork accurately
• Adhere to safety protocols and quality standards

Requirements

• Experience working in a fast-paced environment, preferably in a production/warehouse setting
• Ability to meet daily productivity expectations
• Basic math skills
• Aptitude to learn new machinery and processes
• Ability to stand for a 10-hour shift and lift 50 lbs unaided
