Machine Operator 2nd Shift 3PM-11PM

About the role

Momentum Manufacturing is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Machine Operator to join our dynamic team. This position requires a strong ability to multitask and maintain quality in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Work in a team environment
• Stand for extended periods of time
• Lift up to 50 pounds independently
• Perform simple machine set-ups
• Read and understand most blueprints
• Monitor scrap rates
• Inspect parts in accordance with procedure policy
• Demonstrate working knowledge of QC requirements and procedures
• Understand different cutting tools and their usage
• Basic understanding of ISO concepts
• Basic math skills
• Access production areas when necessary

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED
• One year related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education & experience
• Experience with steel, aluminum, and/or stainless steel preferred
• Basic understanding of Lean principals

Qualifications

• Available to work overtime if required

Skills

• Ability to read blueprints
